Rules and Regulations

No guests under the age of 18 will be permitted to reserve a cabin or other site at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort.  At check-in, the person who holds the reservation will be required to present photo identification.

Check-in will be at 3:00 p.m.  Cabins and sites cannot be guaranteed to be ready until this time.  Check-out is at 11:00 a.m.  If guests are not checked out before this time, the credit card used for the reservation will be charged the rate for an additional night’s stay.

Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort observes location-wide quiet hours between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Riding ATVs on any grass-covered areas is strictly prohibited.  Please only ride ATVs on the designated roadways.

Children at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort must be supervised by an adult at all times.  Children riding laps around the resort on ATVs is not permitted.

All cabins are smoke-free.  Smoking must be done outside of the cabins – no exceptions.

Pets are not allowed inside cabins at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort.  If you bring a pet to the resort it must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended for any period of time.  No vicious breeds are permitted.  If a pet shows aggression toward any other persons or pets at the resort you will be asked to remove it immediately.  If your pet has a bowel movement on resort grounds, you MUST clean it up.

Please do not drive through Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort at any speed above 5 miles per hour.  This is for your safety as well as the safety of other guests who may be staying.  No reckless behavior will be permitted at the resort; this includes revving engines, donuts, wheelies, or driving an ATV or other vehicle while under the influence.

Alcohol is permitted at only your cabin or campsite.  It is not permitted in common areas.  To consume alcohol on the property, the guest(s) MUST be over 21 years of age.  If drunken conduct is observed, you will immediately be asked to leave the resort and will forfeit any type of refund.

Fireworks are not permitted at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort – no exceptions.

Please refrain from washing ATVs at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort.

Campfires are only allowed in the fire rings.  You may purchase firewood at the resort.  If you choose to bring your own, you must take any unused portion with you upon departure.  Gathering firewood from Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort grounds is prohibited.

Cancellation and Refund Policies

To reserve your stay at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort, a deposit of the first night’s rate will be due at the time of reservation.  The remainder shall be due upon your arrival at the resort.

Should you choose to cancel your reservation at Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort more than 21 days prior to the check-in date, you will be refunded your deposit less a $25 cancellation fee.  Cancelling your reservation 7 – 21 days prior to check-in will result in a refunded deposit amount less a $100 cancellation fee.  Cancellation of a reservation less than 7 days before check-in will result in forfeiture of your deposit.

If multiple reservations have been made by the same party, the cancellation fee will apply for each unit that was reserved.

Please note that Matoaka Mountain ATV Resort does not issue refunds for early departures or for weather-related issues.
